# Christmas light installation cost in San Antonio

The price of Christmas light installation in San Antonio depends on the feet of roofline, one story or two, the roof pitch, how many trees are wrapped and how tall they are, extras such as wreaths and garland, and whether you buy or lease the lights. Every job is quoted as one fixed price in writing, from photos of your home. Payment is 50% at booking and 50% when the install is done.

## Packages

- **Roofline Essentials** (the front of the house, done cleanly): Front roofline in C9 LED bulbs, clips, timer, installation, in-season fixes and takedown.
- **Hill Country Classic** (the whole front and sides, with trees): Front and side rooflines, two or three tree trunk wraps, a wreath and walkway lights, plus everything in Roofline Essentials.
- **Estate** (larger homes and acreage): Full roofline with ridgelines, canopy tree wraps, garland, several wreaths, and lighting on a pergola, deck railing or fence line.

- **Buy**: You own the lights. In later seasons you pay for the install, the in-season fixes and the takedown, not for the lights again.
- **Lease**: One price for the season that covers the lights, the install, the in-season fixes and the takedown.
- **Your own lights**: We install lights you already own after a signed waiver, since we cannot vouch for the condition of lights we did not supply.

### How do you price a job?

By the feet of roofline, one story or two, the roof pitch, how many trees are wrapped and how tall they are, extras such as wreaths and garland, and whether you buy or lease the lights. We measure from photos of your home and from satellite images, and visit only if we need to. Every job is quoted as one fixed price in writing, from photos of your home.

### Do I pay full price every year?

Not if you buy the lights. In later seasons you pay for the install, the in-season fixes and the takedown, not for the lights again. If you lease, you pay one price each season that covers the lights along with the work.

### Should I buy the lights or lease them?

Buying costs more the first season and less every season after, and the lights are yours. Leasing is one price for the season with nothing to own. If you plan to light the house the same way for several years, buying usually makes sense. Ask for both prices on your quote.

### Can you install lights I already own?

Yes. We also install lights you already own, after a signed waiver. The waiver is there because we cannot vouch for the condition of lights we did not supply. If a strand is damaged or not rated for outdoor use, we will tell you before it goes up.

### Is there a deposit?

Payment is 50% at booking and 50% when the install is done. The first payment holds your install date.

### Will the price change after I approve the quote?

No. The quote is one fixed price in writing. It changes only if you add to the design, such as another tree or a side of the roofline.

### Do you tip Christmas light installers?

It is not expected. If you want to thank the crew, tell us how they did.
